Getting started with REPS Pro
Understand Last Time, Target, Actual and Next Time, and log sets with the wheels.
REPS Pro is an iPhone strength-training workout tracker in development. Check the download page for current App Store availability. This website preview does not announce a public app release.
Your first workout
Start with a routine you already know. REPS Pro keeps four things clear as you train:
- Last Time shows what you lifted before.
- Target is today's plan for the set.
- Actual records what really happened, kept apart from the plan.
- Next Time is your call for the next session.
Planned eight reps and managed six? Target and Actual keep both numbers clear. Set Next Time while the set is still fresh, or keep the plan as it is.
Quick entries, exact values when needed
Spin the wheels to enter reps, weight and effort without typing or waiting for a keyboard. If the wheel doesn't have the exact value you need, double-tap it and type the value, with up to one decimal place.
You can use that value for just this set, or add it as a wheel stop for this exercise or all exercises. Weight values stay in the wheel's own unit; effort values stay on its own scale.
Record the set you did
Tap Mark Done to copy Target into Actual and start your rest. If you did something different, adjust Actual by spinning its wheels or double-tapping for an exact value. Finish the workout to keep it in your history.
Check your weight unit before entering loads. The app supports pounds and kilograms; the number on the bar and the unit in the app should match. Effort tracking is optional.
Keep your records safe
Your workout library currently lives on your iPhone. A local REPS Pro user is not a cloud account. Do not assume that installing the app on another phone will bring your history with it.
Read Workout data and backups before deleting the app or replacing your phone.
