Privacy and diagnostics
Understand product analytics, optional crash diagnostics, and tester recordings.
Your local workout library and the information sent for analytics are different. Workout records are not currently uploaded to a REPS Pro cloud account, but the app sends selected product-usage events to PostHog.
Product analytics
App analytics include actions such as starting and finishing a workout, together with information such as duration, set counts, exercise counts, and technical context. They use the REPS Pro user identifier created on your phone.
Those events exclude the actual weights and repetitions you enter, personal notes, and custom workout or exercise names. They can include catalog exercise names and target-muscle codes. The current app does not offer a switch to turn off PostHog product analytics.
Share Diagnostics
Sentry receives crash reports and selected error and diagnostic information in distributed app builds. Share Diagnostics is on by default in Settings. Turning it off stops new Sentry diagnostics during normal app operation.
That switch does not turn off PostHog analytics. It also does not promise to recall diagnostics already stored or being sent. Sentry reports use technical context and, when available, the REPS Pro user identifier; they exclude personal notes and workout values.
TestFlight recordings
Eligible TestFlight builds can record what appears on screen to help investigate problems. These recordings can show notes, photos, search text, weights, and repetitions visible in the app. App Store builds do not run session replay.
This website uses selected page and link events. Website session replay and automatic interaction capture are disabled.
